The Power of Nature
Immersing oneself in nature has profound mental and emotional benefits. It reduces stress levels, lowers blood pressure, and alleviates symptoms of anxiety and depression. Nature acts as a natural stress-reliever, soothing the mind and promoting a sense of calmness and relaxation. The beauty of natural landscapes also fosters feelings of awe and wonder, cultivating a deep appreciation for the world around us and inspiring creativity.
Furthermore, time in nature encourages mindfulness and presence, allowing individuals to disconnect from the constant stimulation of technology and reconnect with their inner selves. It provides an opportunity for reflection, introspection, and personal growth. Ultimately, the restorative power of nature nourishes the body, mind, and soul, fostering a sense of harmony and balance that is essential for overall well-being.

“Neo does a wonderful job in guiding us to the wonders of ourselves, those around us, and our natural environment. She does all this with thoughtful intention, a creative sense of adventure, and loving gentleness. I highly recommend all of her offerings.”

“Neo is a skilled and delightful guide.”
I wasn't sure what to expect, having won the hike in a raffle, I was open to the experience but had no expectations.
We hiked on my mother's birthday, nearly three years after she'd died. I'd already done so much healing work and didn't anticipate much to arise. Simply thinking I'd honor her with some time in the forest.
I arrived a little late and a bit discombobulated. Neo welcomed me right where I was. After a brief introduction we began to walk, pausing for a grounding meditation before the hike began. Neo's ability to guide, energetically as well as physically, truly felt like a gift. I went deeper than I'd imagined, touching grief I hadn't met yet. Welcoming it and safely, lovingly, moving through it. This journey fit the title of Trail Based Healing, through and through.
Neo cultivated a clear beginning, immersive journey and culmination of the day. I felt safe throughout the experience and departed the hike with a sense of depth, warmth and richness, far beyond what I'd imagined I'd signed up for.
Thank you, Neo Luz, for sharing your gift with our world, it is beautiful.”
