New Year Cacao Circle

Are you craving peace, compassion, and community? Having difficulty expressing your feelings and emotions or tapping into your heart? Needing a safe container to connect? This cacao circle is designed to open our hearts, connect with ourselves and each other, sharing your experience in a safe way, practice meditation & mindfulness, and express gratitude and love.

WHAT IS CACAO: Cacao is a beverage made from the bean of Theobroma tree fruit. Also called “Food of the Gods” due to its powerful benefits to the mind and body. Cacao is a true superfood, containing antioxidants and minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, fiber, and protein. Cacao’s benefits range from improving cognitive function, enhances performance, boosts mood, and improves cardiovascular health. It is a sister bean of caffeine, so it is a stimulate but does not have the crash like coffee does.

WHAT TO EXPECT: We start with a simple grounding body scan meditation and introductions. As I serve the first cup of cacao, we sit in stillness and reflect on what is happing in our minds and bodies. Our second cup will open us up for a sharing circle to witness relatability and connectedness. There will be interwoven teachings throughout the circle and end with a guided relaxing meditation.

My intention is to create a safe container to explore our feelings in a group setting, listen and honor the medicine and spirit of cacao and look inside our hearts by experiencing a guided mediation.

TAKE HOME: Simple daily practices, rituals, and new copings tools. You may feel lighter, more at peace with yourself, connected to each other and yourself and have a new perspective about your heart. Also, a handmade nature gift to remind us of all the teachings we learned throughout this experience.
